InterVarsity Christian Fellowship seeks to partner with God to advance his kingdom on college campuses, by developing witnessing communities of students and staff who are growing in love for God, his Word, his people of every ethnicity and culture, and his purposes. Amy O’Connell serves as the InterVarsity campus staff at Winona State, where the chapter is being replanted with the desire of serving not-yet-reached corners of campus. This is the same chapter where Amy came to faith in Jesus Christ during her freshman year, and she longs to see today’s students also transformed through an intimate relationship with the Lord. InterVarsity meets weekly on campus for bible study, a shared meal, and prayer, and offers other opportunities for individual discipleship and community building. There is much work to be done at Winona State, and Amy is passionate about and grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside students as they explore what it means to truly follow Jesus.
