Sybil Baloyi
Chokwe, Mozambique
Over twenty years ago, Sybil Baloyi felt the Lord calling her from her job as a nurse in South Africa to go to war-torn Mozambique and work with kids. She has since started over 100s of kids clubs through the area of Chokwe, Mozambique, and has opened a private Christian school called Hauleka, which means "Holy Ones" (from Leviticus 19:2) that empowers students with education and cares for the orphaned and vulnerable youth in the area.
Keith & Kristine Carpenter
Seattle, WA
Keith & Kristine founded our H20 College Ministry in the early 2000’s and were sent out from PV to plant Epic Life Church in Seattle, WA in 2009. Their mission is to see North Seattle transformed by finding an epic life in Jesus Christ. It exists to create opportunities for people to experience the full life that comes through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Lynn Bennett
Winona, MN
Lynn is InterVarsity’s Campus Staff Minister at Winona State University. Her mission is to see God at work in transforming the lives of students and faculty, renewing the campus and developing world changers.

Randy and Marge have been faithfully serving in London for many decades. They lead Oasis International Fellowship with a passion to see people of Muslim backgrounds transformed by the power of Jesus Christ.
Aaron & Eileen Lawler

Aaron and Eileen serve in London with Operation Mobilization (OM) Europe and OM International. They’re also deeply involved in all aspects of evangelism, discipleship and administration at Oasis International Fellowship as they reach diverse populations of Muslim backgrounds in the heart of London.
Ger & Phoenicia Van Veen
Nantes, France
The Van Veens have been with Operation Mobilization (OM) since 2000. They are passionate about reaching the youth of France with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Ger and Phoenicia lead an interdenominational youth ministry in Nantes, seeking to establish vibrant communities of Jesus followers among the least reached in France.
Jackie Dixon
Minneapolis, MN
Jackie started leading worship in college through InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at Winona State and was one of our worship leaders here at PV. She now has the amazing opportunity to share the Gospel through music at places like MN Adult & Teen Challenge and the Shakopee womens prison with Consumed Ministries. She also coaches, trains, and develops young worship leaders.
Ellen Warneke
Kandern, Germany
Ellen grew up learning about Jesus at Pleasant Valley and initially developed an interest in mission work through PV missionaries. She serves as the high school principal of Black Forest Academy in Kandern Germany. Ellen helps to provide academic leadership and works alongside teachers, residence life staff, counselors, chaplains, and others in the school’s goal to support missionary families in their work around the world by providing quality care for their children. In her role, she seeks to be effective as a Christ-honoring servant leader.
Richard & Jayne Spencer
South East Asia
Richard is a former associate pastor at PV and long time friend of our church. He travels extensively throughout South East Asia with Global Training Network discipling and training local pastors and leaders. He has a passion to see pastors fully empowered to serve their churches and communities.
Justin & Rebekah Van Dalen
Ghana, Africa
Justin and Beka Van Dalen met at Pleasant Valley in 2004 while attending college and Justin was the first drummer for the Breathe Band. They have three children and live in Ghana where they serve with International Justice Mission (IJM). IJM opened its Ghana office in 2014 to combat child slavery in the fishing industry and now also addresses other forms of human trafficking, such as cross-border sex and labor trafficking.
Matthew & Karen Gonkerwon
Monrovia, Liberia
Pastor Matthew & Karen lead LifePoint Chapel with a passion to see Liberia and Africa reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through training, resourcing pastors and church leaders for effective ministry and church multiplication.
Glenn & Anne Olson
Hastings, MN
Glenn is the Student Ministry Director for the North Central District of the EFCA. Recruiting, encouraging, equipping and empowering youth workers and students for personal and ministry health and effectiveness through strong learning communities. He also oversees the yearly student conference District Blitz.
David & Tina Rosenau
Fredrick, WI
The Rosenau are on staff at Oak Forest Center in Frederic Wisconsin. David serves as the facility manager and Tina is the guest service coordinator. Oak Forest Center offers much more than a remote get-away. It is a spiritual oasis, where guests’ needs are cared for so that they may focus their hearts and minds on the work the Lord is doing in and through them.
Kim Larson
Japan
Kim is the college campus mobilizer at Winona State and UW- La Crosse with ReachGlobal. She’s currently in the process of moving to Tokyo Japan long-term with a vision to plant house churches throughout the vast city of Tokyo and to strategically raise up local leaders for church multiplication.

Bob & Melissa Hill
Glasgow, Scotland
Bob and Melissa have been serving in Scotland for over 25 years. They run Overtoun House, which has been Scotland’s first safe house for women exiting sexual exploitation. This year it will be transitioning to being a refuge for refugee women fleeing exploitation and abuse.
They also pastor His Family Church, a vibrant and multi-generational community of believers in Clydebank, a suburb of Glasgow. In addition, they’re also the directors of Member Care for Globe International, providing encouragement and spiritual support to 170 missionaries around the world.
J & N
South East Asia
J gave her life to Jesus at H20 while attending college at WSU. J & N got married in January 2020 and are also a part of a church planting team that will learn a native language, translate scripture into their language, disciple new believers, establish local elders, and ultimately leave behind a biblical, indigenous church among a people group who currently has no access to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Gary & Chris Persons
Philippines
The life long passion of Gary and Chris has been to see lives transformed through the translated Word of God. Through Wycliffe, they have been working with indigenous groups, especially the Bolinao people of the Philippines, to make a way to make a way for them to have the Bible in their heart language.
YWAM Panama
Boquete, Panama
The YWAM (Youth With A Mission) base in Boquete, Panama is one of the three YWAM Campus locations pioneered over the last 27 years by founders Rich & Debbie Tracy and an amazing staff team. They run various training schools throughout the year such as the Frontier Missions Discipleship Training School, School of Strategic Missions, Discipleship Bible School and the School of Leadership and Ministry Development.
Through leadership and training, an indigenous movement was started that has planted 25 churches amongst the Ngäbe people of Panama. Additionally, there have been 52 Homes of Hope built for indigenous families in need, while continuing to be dedicated to end Bible poverty and get a bible into every home throughout Panama.
Los Pinos Nuevos Pastors
Cuba
God is on the move in Cuba and we have the amazing opportunity to help expand His Kingdom on this beautiful island! We partner with the Los Pinos Nuevos denomination by supporting pastors with the greatest need throughout Cuba. We find it a privilege to come alongside our fellow brothers and sisters as they faithfully carry out the work the Lord has entrusted them in spreading the Gospel and making disciples.
